Jericho Meetings/Training
Next training session is on Saturday, January 28th, from 8:00am - Noon Jerricho Commission offices 1925 E. Bennett, Ste. L, Springfield Training sessions are scheduled as needed. We require 6 applicants minimum before we schedule due interaction/role playing. Our training is a work in progress. If you are interested in being a mentor and would like to attend the training, email us. You can attend as many training sessions as you wish. There is no charge. If you have not been approved as a mentor prior to training, the certificate issued is good for a six month period. You can submit a mentor application anytime during that six months for processing. If you are not approved for mentoring by the Screening and assessment board this is the end. If an application is not submitted within the six month period, the training is negated. If an application is submitted after the six months, training attendance will be required. Monthly Mentor meetings 6 - 8pm. These meetings for mentors and church care team leaders and will be held on the 3rd Tuesday night of each month. This is an important gathering and involves ongoing training.
